Anyone can grab a scrapbook of the shelf of a craft store and fill it with photographs. A truly talented scrapbooker can create an entire scrapbook album. This crafty option can be less expensive and will leave you with a greater sense of accomplishment. Make a customized scrapbook unlike any other. You can select the exact size, coloring and style of your book full of memories. Impress your friends and family with a one-of-a-kind scrapbook.

Things You'll Need
  • Chipboard album
  • Paint
  • Sponge Brush
  • Scrapbook paper
  • Double sided scrapbook tape or a hot glue gun
  • Scrapbook scissors
  • Photographs or embellishments
  • Large shower curtain rings or wire rings
  • Ribbon or lace
Instructions
  • Paint each page of a chipboard album found at a scrapbook supplies or craft store with a sponge brush. Allow each page to dry. Keep in mind you will need to allow one side of each page to dry before painting the other side.
  • Add any background pieces of decorative scrapbook paper in the colors and designs of your choice to the pages of the chipboard. use double sided scrapbook tape or a hot glue gun along the edges. You can cut the paper to fit the chipboard completely or cut any size or shape. Use scrapbook scissors for textured edges.
  • Attach photographs, stickers, ribbon, gemstones or other embellishments to the scrapbook paper or chipboard with the use of a hot glue gun or double-sided tape.
  • Bind the pages of your chipboard together by putting large shower curtain rings or wire rings through the pre-drilled holes along one edge of the chipboard.
  • Tie ribbon or lace around each of the rings used for binding.
